Canelo giving him the fight 4 weeks out was Smith's own doing? Really?

      Wait, what?

You must have seen different fights to me. Canelo 1 and Jacobs were on the back foot and doing laps of the ring against G. With Chenko, they both went at it.

If you're thinking of the second G fight. All he did was take half steps back and use the jab. That isn't being scared. Unless you think boxing smart equals scared?

Smith did not belong at 168 anymore. Did you see him beaten up by Ryder?

for the record, I doubt there would be any where near 20 pounds difference between Tank and Ryan if they simply met at the half way point 137.5 with no rehydration clause.

In your opinion, how much larger do you think Haney will be when he fights Loma?
For starters, that’s not the same Garcia everyone else faced. Are you afraid that without a 20 lb weight advantage that Garcia can’t beat Tank? I don’t think anyone (myself included) gives any credibility to Tanks 140 lb “title”. I think without the hydration clause, Garcia would have a 20 lb weight advantage.

Would you agree that the fairest way to handle this would for both to weigh in at the agreed upon weight (136) on the way to the ring. Doesn’t matter, there’s an agreement in place.

How in the fck is 140 pound Garcia with no rehydration clause not the same fighter everyone else faces? Please answer that first before you add another stipulation that would have them fighting at about the same in ring weight as your average 130 pound fighter.

Garcia only had one fight at 140, so there’s no real way to take the angle you chose. Both fighters have to weigh 136 for the weigh in and no more than 146 for the rehydration. Again, BOTH fighters. What’s unfair about that? Unless you think it’s fair for one fighter to be heavier than the other.

The fairest way is to have both fighters weigh in on the way to the ring. I can’t wait for your explanation against this.

                  No he didn't

Thought he should have considering he had a drained green 22 yr old skeleton corpse of canelo and an old past his prime mosley.

Toward the end you can see how wide eyed he became when Maidana just KEPT running toward him. he didn't walk. He just ran up on Victor lol. Ortiz was legit scared into a little girl. Froze up and started panicking before quitting.

Ryan's last fight at 135, January of 2021, he weighed exactly 135 as did Luke Campbell. Ryan was 22. When he was 20 he was fighting at 130. I think we can agree that the Ryan who fought Campbell could not have fought at 130 anymore. Ryan has fought twice since the Campbell fight, both fights over 135, and appears to be physically stronger and more muscular. I say appears because I'm just looking at pictures but Tank seems to agree with me.

Young fighters fill out, they gain weight and they generally can't do a reset. When they try, they are more often than not bitterly disappointed.

I don't like this fight, that isn't a newsflash I suppose. I'd rather see Ryan at full strength fighting one of his rivals at 140. I'd rather see Tank fight one of his rivals at 135. Instead we get this shyt which, when it's over, what did it prove?
