People always say Joyce is slow

Granted his hand speed is quite slow but he has deceptively quick feet. He moves around the ring well and very effective at cutting off the ring. It almost makes his hand speed not matter because he suffocates you with pressure and fights at the distance he wants because of his feet.

Although that is generally against fighters that don't move too well. He did struggle with Jennings' movement and Jennings is washed up

Even so, unless you're very good with your own feet and distance control, he'll have you where he wants you

He has been knocked out andcdropped in the amateurs a few times. You can say that's the amateurs but a chin is a chin and they're only human

If you can go down in the past, amateur or pro, you can again for sure.

His chin is very solid but I won't be surprised to see him down and out one day either. It only takes the right shot.

Doubt Zhang will do it though

Met Joyce a few weeks back in Vegas for a homies bday celebration. Im 5'10 185 and this mofo made me look small af. Humble, intelligent and nice guy. We chopped it up for about 10/15 minutes when we were at the Griff. He was surprised I knew who he was, said he hasnt met many people who know of him while hes been training in Vegas. This mofo is the next one up imo. Can crack, is agile af and has one helluva chin on him. He looks slow but hes quicker than he looks. His neck massive too. Anyway, I expect him to get Zhang outta there around the 4th/5th round. Good luck to him in his career

Speaking of that, I wonder why Joyce is fighting Zhang instead of Hrgovic, the guy who beat the "Big ****"?

Different routes. Joyce is WBO interim, Hrgovic hopes on IBF ( interim ) world title shot.

                    Everyone keeps mentioning Joyce's speed.

But what people need to understand is that 'Joyce has speed in important places'.

Joyce's movement and footwork is really good, plus?

Joyce going by his last performance 'May have the highest levels of endurance in the Heavyweight Division'.

Joyce's endurance may be even greater than Usyk's.

Usyk & Joyce statistically pretty much exist on a entirely different level of endurance 'To all other Top Heavyweights'.

I know this because I have analysed the data, and I have made many posts on this subject before.

Tyson Fury has never displayed comparable endurance to Joyce in any of his top fights 'And I have highlighted, that if Fury is to lose to Usyk? It will be due to fatiguing and tanking in the second half of the fight'.

Fury's endurance is not bad, and neither is Joshua's. But when you are competing against fighters like Joyce & Usyk 'A fighter has to maintain their form, intensity and tactics extremely astutely'.

Fury in his last top level fight vs Wilder III 'Fury was fatigued and making unforced errors from round 2 on-wards'.

Joshua vs Usyk I & II rarely made any unforced errors technically 'Skill for skill especially in the second fight, you cannot really criticize his performance'

But Joshua's intensity and form as the fight progress, just decreased by a percentage 'And that is all it took for Usyk, to capitalize and start to take over'.
