Dazn seems to like to throw money away, because I don't know how they're making a profit.

Don't complain. You still get full access to World Darts League matches.

This is clearly damage control by DAZN after Eddie and Matchroom lost so many of their high profile boxers. Eddie was really naive to think Buatsi would be interested in being forced to fight Bivol next when at this point at least, he has no chance of winning that fight. Eddie didn't care because after Buatsi had been on the shelf so long, he wanted to maximize his short term profit especially given he promotes Bivol as well.

It got too expensive for what they offer.

100% agree. And I don't care about all that other content they show. Plus add insult to injury they didn't even offer long term subscribers any discounts.

Yep. I try to support boxing. Been subscribed since DAZN launched but it's out of control. Gotta figure a yearly sub plus two Canelo PPVs is pushing 400 bucks. Nowhere near reasonable.

Lmfaooooo my god I’m gonna laugh soooooo hard when DAZN loses all of their subscribers and they have to file for bankruptcy.

DAZN, you are absolutely the worst in boxing.

It’s even worse than that - i had the renewal from Apple which is the one getting all the press for a monthly subscription of £19.99. But that’s for the flexible plan meaning you can drop in any time and if you want just pay for whatever month you want to subscribe for.

If you renew via Dazn you also get two other options - a monthly plan of £9.99 which i’m guessing you’re committed to / have some cancellation fee if you drop it before a year etc. You can also pay for that at £99.99 up front for the year which is cheaper again.

So if you went for the year up front their price hasn’t really increased at all. Seriously crap marketing from Dazn.

Personally i’ve binned my subscription anyway as even on the old price it was way too much for the regularity or quality of boxing content which is all i’m interested in. The odd big fight once in a blue moon which they’re now making ppv anyway, but other than that really meodcre at best.

Promoter and their daft ppv prices is killing boxing. Make it cheaper, people have less incentive to pirate and you’ll get more subscribers. Idiots.

If Joshua doesn’t return to form and Canelo continues to lose it, I can’t see Dazn lasting much longer. Sounding like they’ve got it seriously wrong this time and subscribers are leaving them in droves.

Went from $9.99 a month and saying PPV was dead, to doubling their prices AND charging PPV, and now this. I used to subscribe 2-3 months out of the year when decent non-PPV fights were upcoming but I'll just pirate it from now on.
