Comments Thread For: Devin Haney: After I Beat Lomachenko I'll Get My Respect As P4P Best

Undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney and former three-division titlist Vasiliy Lomachenko are set to square off in a highly anticipated matchup on May 20. The only missing piece to the puzzle holding back the official announcement of the fight is if the event will be staged in Saudi Arabia or Las Vegas.

This kid is so deluded. You think beating Kambosos twice and a faded Loma makes you the P4P best?

P4P #1 is a two way conversation between Usyk and Inoue.

Should be a good fight! I'm partial to Lomachenko, but Haney is good, so wouldn't be shocked if he won.

Can Loma come back big & beat Haney? It is possible but Haney is young and sharp so we will see.

For somebody who's only beaten Kambosos (who most see as average at best), Haney sure as hell is talking a lot. Loma didn't avoid you, talk to Bob who wanted to make the in-house fight between Loma and Lopez. If he was avoiding you, now for sure is the time he would have considering many don't think he is the same fighter. Too much whining, just go out there, handle your business and move on to the next one and unless Loma, has totally forgotten how to fight, I don't see how Haney thinks this is an easy fight for him the way he's talking.

If Haney beats him fairly in a boxing match, he'll get plenty of credit. If he fights dirty as always (on top of being a weight bully), dude deserves nothing.

Loma is way too old. He relies heavily on movement and you can tell that he lost a few steps. Haney should win this easy.

Don't expect a win to change anything except the standard by which you're judged. People will continue to move the goal post and then reverse their logic and change the standard by which they evaluate you. Human thing that gets worse when it comes to fans of anything, not just boxing.

Consider the source, self respect, respect of family and friends are important.. peers can quickly become "crabs in the bucket".

don't do this. Most of this site is claiming Lomachenko will win. I've said for years Loma has no chance and he has less than that NOW. So don't start the "old" excuses. And for the record, of course he's older, but it's his own fault. He's the one that ducked the fade for years
