Rashidii did good early, then faded late. That constant pressure from Villa was a mofo and eventually he startes landing hard shots. When u get tired and fall apart at the seams, it looks bad to the crowd and to judges. Your stamina has to be unquestionable. These guys in this era are often full of themselves, but are not in shape for 12 hard rounds. They can do 12 easy rounds if a guy is letting them have their way, but if its a hard fight, they can only do 6 or maybe 7 good rounds b4 they start to wilt and their hands start to drop. Rashiidi moved too much at times and he has to admit he lost and fix what he needs to fix.. get your ass in better shape, talking about u wanted Boots?! Man u can't even beat this Venezuelan dude. U better chill talking like that

Sorry "Speedy," but that's not how it works! You blew it! Go get Mario Barrios! Earn you're way back to the Top! BTW, Boots was gonna light that ass up anyway!

            In other welterweight news...

Manny Pacquiao planning to fight, in talks with Conor Benn

Manny Pacquiao, who announced his retirement in August 2021, plans to fight again, MP Promotions President Sean Gibbons told ESPN on Tuesday. Pacquiao, who turned 44 in December, is engaged in talks for a welterweight fight against U.K. star Conor Benn, Gibbons said. That fight is being eyed for June 3 in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., sources said, though Benn is also considering two other opponents for his comeback bout: Kell Brook and Chris Eubank Jr.

Manny Pacquiao, the only eight-division champion in boxing history, is planning to fight again and is in talks with popular British fighter Conor Benn for a potential comeback bout.

Shades of Fury-Wilder I. Fury controlled the entire fight, but got dropped twice late. Optics matter.

Well, we at least know it would be a good fight compared to anyone else Ellis is likely to fight. He's not going to fight Boots and Villa has been on a tear as of late taking 0's from these 'eye test' fighters. Villa deserves more high profile fights until someone can disrupt him.

Because the alternative is Karen Chukhadzian - and Ellis vs. Chukhadzian is a TERRIBLE style matchup.

I thought Ellis had a close win in that fight. He really did very well in the first half. He got caught up at the end, his corner said stay engaged instead of boxing from the outside.

Wouldn't mind seeing any of those two guys against any top fighter. Villa showed stamina, power and persevered until the last round

That last round literally killed him. But it's his own fault; he was too complacent in the first half of the fight and dropped the ball in the end. He knows it and that's why it still hurts so bad.
