Definitely wouldn't call David "amazingly" strong. He's an accumulation guy. He's never really sparked guys out with one shot. He's also not physically strong either. He's always letting smaller guys close the distance on him and push him into the ropes. He couldn't even knock out canelo's literal sparring partner Ronald Ellis. David's power is extremely overrated. To be 100% real I think plant has more one punch power than David. He actually stuns and hurts guys with single shots quite often.

What makes you think Ellis is easy to knock out? Nobody had ever stopped him before. David has an 88% KO ratio but apparently his power is extremely overrated lol. It look GGG 9 rounds to stop Lemuiex, David got him out of there in 2 rounds.

In 10 days you will see its all about Levels.

I don't think David Benavidez has ever fought anyone with the skills of Plant. He must know this. He's gotten a lot of victories by way of his size and reach. But he's amazingly strong too. Very aggressive style. There are ways to beat him. No one has shown that yet. It remains to be seen if Plant can figure him out and win. Tall task for Plant.

True, Plant has got to fight the perfect fight, he cant fade like against Canelo and he must fight focused for every second, Breadman has got him going well it's a great fight but as you say its a tall order, the first couple of rounds will tell the story.

Theres no question that Caleb is the more skilled fighter. The only remaining question is whether or not he has the durability to last 12 rounds. He's got stamina issues and tends to get lazy as the fight goes on. And this will give David many openings. But if caleb can stay sharp I wouldn't be surprised to see him give David a boxing lesson and maybe even knock him out. David is not the guy everybody thinks. Very persistent but also very flat footed with subpar defense and no head movement.

I have been a boxing fan for over 40 years and I am confused by all the praise of David, especially if you bother to look at his resume. For instance he is a two time champ and the washed up one dimensional Lemieux is one of, if not the best, name on his resume. That is a real head scratcher or it may possibly be dandruff. With that said your critique of David is in my opinion the best I have read period. Good job!

I believe he was already a prospect and had good amateur credentials already plus being white never hurts a fighter.

I didn't handicap this fight and wouldn't because I despise Plant. I never wager units when I'm invested in wanting someone to get hurt.

Benavidez isn't going to get outboxed and that's all Plant can do. Additionally, if it's close they'll give it to Benavidez because he's got more market worth than Plant does. Plant would need to put a clinic beatdown on Benavidez to get a win.
