Where did those negative stories of Plant's interaction with his child originate? Were they not told by the mother of the child which would be Plant's ex? From my own experience of dealing with an ex-wife they are hardly reliable sources for information on their former significant other. I believe anyone that has been through a nasty divorce or break up would agree with that.
