You must've giggled as you typed that message. 154 is a weaker division, full of flawed fighters - including the champions. It could mean more competitive fights, who knows.....But just about every fighter has flaws that can be exploited - mostly on the defensive end. They can all be hit.

I can see why Danny went to 154. Spence can't wait to move up in weight.

Harrison was basically a one-handed fighter for the entire fight, yet it took 9 rounds for Tim to actually do something significant and he was wide open for the right all night - something Charlo can easily expose. Harrison was able to connect with his right (the few times he actually threw it) but his lack of power made a difference in those moments.

I hope Tim's comment about "beating the man who beat the man" was just self-motivation - if he truly believes that was the same version of the man who beat the man, he's in for a very rude awakening. It can also be argued that Charlo wasn't at his best the night that Harrison beat him based on the rematch where Charlo completely dominated and knocked out a better version of Harrison than the one-handed fighter that 'jabbed' (not fought - he just jabbed all night) this time.
IMO, Castaño vs Tim would be more evenly matched [than Tim vs Jermell] but I'd slightly favor Castaño to win based on what I've seen from both fighters.
The knock on Tim is he’s a very slow starter
Harrison had stated that he could win the first six rounds just by jabbing him to death
Imo , that was just an ignorant comment to make strategy wise ( should of kept it to himself )
Only because Tim’s response was exactly that he would just try to walk through it
I do agree that he gets hit at will and should tighten up his defence
But I also believe his power will be a game changer as it was last night when Harrison began to get hit with the overhand right after jabbing Tim
I think Charlo will come to the same conclusion and having already lost ( and being mentally weak imo ) he will be reluctant to throw his power shots at will
Tim is lucky he can fall back on his power , which we all know in boxing can be a lifesaver
I can say Tim is actually learning on the job and imo progressing at it , he's not that old either ( 27 )

I've never see a black dude cheer for anyone not black...assuming no personal interest involved obviously.

latinos Asian and white folks gotta wake the **** up.
Regge, what's your ethnicity? You're absolutely hilarious and off base. There's nothing wrong with someone who roots for someone who looks like them and they can identify with, and is qualified....in an oppressive society. It's called hope. I'm Black and I often root for Black, but I'll also root for anyone else who has "the goods" .....whatever their color.

          • Did Harrison even try to win the fight? I don't think he threw even one combo. And his jab was shiat... Like seriously.

The difference between Tszyu and Charlo is that Tszyu can take a punch and Charlo can’t. Almost every boxer can be hit except for Mayweather who is the greatest defensive boxer of all time. The rude awakening is when Charlo kisses the canvas when he fights Tszyu after his boo-boos heal.

              • Congratulations to Tim Tszyu on his much anticipated victory. I predicted this result would happen. Which was the reason why Team Tszyu took the fight in the first place.

Tony Harrison is a ruined fighter now and should seriously consider retiring. Both his stamina, legs, reflexes and hand to eye coordination are now a thing of the past. He looked very old and slow in that bout last night.

It's called getting old. He tried but he couldn't. His body just wouldn't allow him to do it. He needs to retire because he is done at the elite level. He is washed up now.

If he chooses to prolong his career then he would become just another stepping stone to other fighters as a gatekeeper in order to help build up their resumes like Tim Tszyu just did.

where was all this talk about him being shot before the fight
more people were picking him to beat tim then the other way around

                    • Tim is going to body Charlo. Harrison only survived as long as he did, because he was fighting to survive. Charlo will be more confident and open himself up.
