I think a lot of people believe that in order to be a complex and advanced fighter you need to dance around the ring-in other words, move more than stick and not get hit more than hit...
What Tony really meant was that Tim basically kicked his ass.Tony was far more basic in this fight-jab, get backed up and move a lot....."so advanced".Last edited by damned1974; 03-12-2023, 02:52 AM.Comment

Or plain ol' underestimating your opponent.
This sounds cruel but if you're fighting an old lady, you better dominate her and worry about people hating you for winning later.
Tony thought Tim was beneath him but didn't fight like it. Whatever skills he thought Tim didn't have was enough to end him.
Nothing more embarrassing, and satisfying, than a boxer talking trash and getting owned

I could give a **** arse if your point stands or not, I didn’t ask you for it. And yes you used Benavidez and I poked a big hole of logic because your example was irrelevant since Benavidez has actually picked another race to beat a Latino. And actually I do have a problem with a Latino fighter picking another one just because of race. Just like when Fernando Vargas picked Andy Ruiz to beat Tyson fury just because they’re both Latinos. The only one victimising himself with irrelevant examples and corny comebacks is you. Just sit down kid, stop embarrassing yourself.Comment

Harrison looked like garbage tim called it at the press conference. He’s content holding the pads and training a few guys he looked 38 but he’s he’s only 32 lol. Showed up for a free vacation and pay check. Charlo has a much better chin and will throw much more back at tsyzu I’m looking forward to that fight it will much more competitive then this mummers farce was.Comment

I agree. Tim demonstrated patient pressure with sharp timing. Sure, he could have jabbed more, but why the need if he already knew the range? Why give Tony something to counter over the top?

So you’re basically admitting to being racist lmao so you don’t even look at boxing iq, skills, ring generalship etc lol I’m guessing your parents were also cousins themselves huh and actually it’s the other way around, black fighters support each other as “the culture” and “blk power” but when the Latinos or Brits or Asians do the same you’ll wanna pull the race card and victimise yourselves. Bringing up the “500 years of slavery”, the “still fighting the system til this day” etc bull crap. That’s why you’ll idolize wilder so much lmao but then Tyson fury came and baptized and beat the racist outta him
I 100 percent agree with Tony Harrison's statement and view. I also ALWAYS 99.999999 percent of the time pick the black fighter against every other race they fight. The only time I won't root for the black fighter is when that black fighter is a sellout and a total embarrassment to us black folks and even then, I just won't root for anyone. Call it racism all you want, that just the way it is. Other races root for their own, but when black people do it, we are racist, smh.. In nature most animals stick with their own kind, lions with lions, elephants with elephants, buffaloes with buffaloes, so I"M STICKING WITH MY OWN KIND and will always root for my own black people against ALL OTHERS. Anyways good job Tim Tszyu, even though I rooted against him, he did his thing in there. He still gets my respect as a boxer.

Imagine if everyone thought like him....we would be sent back 50 years. This guy is basically admitting that we shouldn't look at eachother as equals or even as fellow humans and shows loyalty assuming that "his own people" have his back or best interests....Literally every inner city in America proves that theory wrong! lolSo you’re basically admitting to being racist lmao so you don’t even look at boxing iq, skills, ring generalship etc lol I’m guessing your parents were also cousins themselves huh and actually it’s the other way around, black fighters support each other as “the culture” and “blk power” but when the Latinos or Brits or Asians do the same you’ll wanna pull the race card and victimise yourselves. I’ve seen Devin Haney root for Ryan Garcia against Tank. I’ve seen Shawn Porter root for Caleb plant against Direll. I’ve seen Floyd Mayweather root for Jessie Vargas against Adrien Broner. I’ve seen Gary Russell root for Mario Barrios against Tank Davis. I’ve seen Tank Davis root for Jo Jo Diaz against Tevin Farmer etc and there many other examples like this. Your comment is irrelevant
I've been known black folks are like that the majority are.
It's some dumbass Latinos, whites Asians etc that don't see it.. so they cheer against there own like some dumbasses.
I've never see a black dude cheer for anyone not black...assuming no personal interest involved obviously.
latinos Asian and white folks gotta wake the **** up.Comment
