To be fair both guys who sparred both thought Bivol would lose to Canelo too. Benavidez and Ramirez both thought Canelo would beat Bivol based on their sparrings. They also think they would beat Bivol too. We all how saw that turned out. Ramirez supposedly gave Bivol the work and Benavidez supposedly dropped Bivol in sparring. Just goes to show sparring is sparring.

canelo was the freak of nature, blasting through cruiser all the way to topple usyk at heavy with eddie wetting his pants at the prospect of it all, then bivol stole his thunder so i guess maybe he stole the mantle of freak of nature too or maybe bivols just very good with a style wrong for canelo and bigger than him too or maybe canelo can actually topple bivol in a rematch and dramatically take back the freak of nature title

I wouldn’t say Bivol is a “freak of nature”. What he is is a fighter who absolutely mastered the basics of this sport who totally understands what works for him and what doesn’t. Throw in that he obviously studies his opponents and is in tip top shape every time out, verrrrry tough to beat LEGITIMATELY!
