Tank is 5'5 fighting a guy 5'10 who do you think would carry more weight in rehydration? Tank fought his last few fights a 135 Ryan fought last at 140. Apparently Ryan can't get back to 135. So Tank can't ask to meet somewhere in the middle. It was a negotiation. The negotiater with leverage wins

How can weight be beneficial to both when one guy is bigger than the other, it will always be one is light or one is heavy, they cannot be both at their best weight.

It would have been fairest if the fight was at 146 lbs on fight night, without the 136lb weigh in, I don't like how Ryan has got to make the 136 and then the rehydration clause, without the 136 that 10lbs is fine if they just made 146 on the day, the going down and then the restriction on going up is a double whammy.

Not going to explain myself, read the post again. You are probably stuck that I think this weight clause is a good thing.

First, Tank had agreed to a catch weight of 138. Remember, Tank already has a belt at 140, whom he won from a bigger man than Garcia. After Garcia accepted the catch weight of 138, days later, Tank and Team, lowered it to 136- or Tank wouldn't take the fight. It seems Tank was doing all he could to discourage Garcia from taking the fight- so they could say Garcia ducked. But, Garcia agreed to 136. And then, at the very last minute, Tank and Team, imposed a 10 lb rehydration clause on top of that- or else, Tank wouldn't take the fight. So, even though handicapped by these stipulations, Garcia agreed, because he really wants this fight.

So, it was Tank ducking Garcia every step of the way, LET THAT SINK IN, until he got the advantages he wanted. Tank had never done this to any other fighter before, even though, he's faced a bigger fighter than Garcia, and they love boasting about how Tank has always faced bigger fighters than him, that he's even knocking out middle weights in sparring, that he's levels above Garcia, that he's talented, P4P, highly skilled, possibly GOAT, etc..

And this is what makes these Tank shenanigans so huge! Tank and his fans, have consistently and prolifically discredited Garcia, as a nobody, as untalented, weak, amateurish, over-rated, and so many other disparaging and degrading remarks. And yet, in contrast to those disparaging remarks against Garcia, they are willfully blind to the irony and hypocrisy of Tank and Team, for imposing these debilitating stipulations on Garcia, which they'd never done to any fighter before, and yet, Garcia is supposed to be this, weak-ass, nobody.

So, what does that really have to say about Tank? Who, has really shown weakness and courage here? WE ALL KNOW! Even skankie fans know, but they'll never admit it! Come fight night, by design, Tank will not be facing the best version of Garcia. They are terrified of the best version of Garcia. These negotiations have proven this.

Garcia has exposed Tank, without having thrown a single punch! He's exposed the cowardice of Tank and the real, deep down fear, they really, really have of him.

The young Garcia, while not even in his prime yet, will be facing a prime Tank- while at the same time, being handicapped by the egregious stipulations imposed by an over-rated, over-hyped, scared Tank. Tank and Team, through these, uncalled for and needless stipulations, have demonstrated their lack of confidence in Tank beating an unrestrained Garcia.

If Tank does happen to win on fight night, the whole world will now know why- because Tank and Team, purposely weight drained and weakened Garcia, so they could face a lesser version of Garcia. Through their own real fear of Garcia, Tank has brought this on himself. They have no one else to blame but themselves. Tank has forever tainted his victory over Garcia, should he pull out the win. And it will forever dog him. It will be a stain on his resume forever!

Of course, Tank fans don't care how Tank wins. As long as he wins. They'll continue ****-riding the over-hyped, over-rated Tank Train, until it gets obliterated at some point down the line when he faces real competition on an even playing field. And guess what, in spite of the unwarranted stipulations Garcia was forced to accept to avoid the Tank DUCK, even though handicapped, my money has already been laid down on Garcia obliterating this hype-train.

This young, exciting, and upcoming Mexican warrior, showed more courage and balls than Tank and Team, who had to impose all these egregious stipulations to give their fighter an unfair advantage- or else they'd duck. An unrestrained Garcia, 100% obliterates Tank- and they know it! And even though Tank- by design, will not be facing the best version of Garcia, my money will still remain on Garcia.

If Tank does happen to beat Garcia, he WILL NOT be the face of boxing! Because, Tank and Team, purposely made sure they were not facing the best version of Garcia. Just the facts! So, if you don't like the facts, cry me a damn river!

But, should Garcia beat Tank- HE WILL BE the face of boxing and doubly more so! Especially, after Tank and Team, purposely restrained and handicapped him. So, a win will be that much more glorious for Garcia!

I predict that Garcia will eventually become the face and future of boxing! If Garcia doesn't beat tank this time around due to the unfair advantages imposed by Tank and Team- he will eventually beat Tank on an even playing field at 140, should Tank find the courage to defend his 140 pound belt against Garcia. An unrestrained Garcia, 100% obliterates Tank! FACT!

And I further predict, that not only will Garcia eventually have a victory over Tank, but Garcia will also be the one who annihilates and brings to a sudden stop the other two, over-rated and over-hyped con-jobs in Haney and Stevenson. Just wait and see! You heard it here first!

Apples to oranges with Floyd/Oscar. Floyd went up in weight because they were fighting for a title at that weight. And Floyd still came in light so he wasn’t a weaker version of himself. The other things like who comes out first and Oscar making twice as much were because Oscar was by far the bigger star at that point.

Forcing a rehydration clause is designed to weaken an opponent on fight night. Tank fought other guys at that weight without it.
