Weren't you the one saying Tank gets no props for beating LSC because LSC came from a smaller weight class and 135 wasn't naturally for him?

But you'd give Ryan props for the same thing?

How many times did you crap on Loma for beating a blown up Rigo? ZERO

    I see the pattern here
I echoed the same sentiments as Loma after he beat Rigo. He said it was not a big win, he is not in my weight class.

I'm not giving Ryan credit for anything. I just think Ryan vs Tank at 140 is a really close fight but if you weaken Ryan, it's just a BS fight. I do not believe Ryan can fight at 135 anymore, 136 with a rehydration clause is going to leave him unable to give a good account of himself. If you want to celebrate a big win for Tank afterward, that's up to you.

Tank has to lose just as much if not more weight than Ryan. 135 lbs is his natural weight class. Tank is barely 5'4 with platforms on.

Just like Loma refused to fight Pac at 140 because it wasn't his weight class

You guy's and your built in excuses. Just enjoy the fight man

When has Floyd ever weighed 149 lbs for a welterweight fight?
        I don't understand the reference.

Hatton had to lose lots of weight too. It's called fat.

          • Tank vs H. Garcia/LSC don't count because they came up in weight against Tank

But if Ryan beats Tank at 140, that will count for Ryan despite Tank being outside his natural weight class?

Of course, there's no double standards on this board. It's all consistent

What it would mean is that at 140, Ryan was the better man. What exactly does it mean if Tank beats Ryan at 136 with a rehydration clause? Real question, because I don't know what it's supposed to mean.

Canelo beat Kovalev but he didn't face Kovalev without rushing him into the fight on a short turnaround and he didn't face him by the same rules everyone else faced Kovalev with at LHW. I don't know what the "win" was supposed to mean.

Let's list the excuses from poster's like yourself:

                1. Ward - gift decision over Kovalev
                2. Ward - fake knockout over Kovalev. Ball shots
                3. Canelo - fake knockout over Kovalev. Not enough time to prepare
                4. Tank - fake KO over LSC. LSC came up in weight
                5. Tank - fake KO over H. Garcia. Garcia came up in weight
                6. Bivol - real victory over Canelo who came up in weight
                7. Garcia - will have a real victory over Tank who is coming up in weight
                8. Pac - real victory over DLH who came down in weight

And the list goes on and on

Just enjoy the fight and stop complaining about every damn thing

                      1) correct
                      2) correct
                      3) it wasn't a fake but did not established Canelo as the better LHW
4 & 5) not fake but not big wins either
                      6) real victory according to the rules at LHW. Not a big win, other than it raised Bivol's profile
                      7) Are you admitting that Garcia is superior to Tank at 140?
                      8) Oscar didn't drain himself for Pac, he was at 147 for a Floyd rematch. Bottom line though is that few give a lot of credit for that win, I certainly don't.
