Why would Vergil fight Gervonta's left overs?

Outside of committed boxing fans, who's heard of Ortiz?

Isn't he with PBC/Haymon? Why can't he just focus on his stable mates like Ennis, etc.

He's got balls, though. Bozy was saying it has to be marinated first, 3 years minimum. No Ortiz in the immediate future for Ennis.

This clown thinks getting hand picked for a Davis fight makes him a star. Guy is pure trash and was picked because he had a fake belt and was the easiest fight so Porky can pretend he is a 3 division champ. He was given another hand out to make Queef Thurman look good.

Barrios is on the level of Rocha, Ortiz is a little too good

Mario Barrios has to rebuild himself and develop further if he wants to make a name for himself, he has good options considering showtime's Welterweight rooster of Crowley, James, Maestre, Fox, Avanesyan, Palmetta and etc.

Being that said, even if I find the idea of Tejano vs Tejano in a Texas showdown intriguing, Vergil Ortiz Jr is quite ahead of him and he himself is still developing at age 24. By the time he reaches the same age as barrios (27-28) he likely be at 154 with plenty of experience under his belt.

Maybe in very very ******* sense. Lol

It depends on what the definition of “is” is.

Those three fighter's would make for some damn good fight's against Vergil Ortiz, but you left out one of your favorite fighter's Staniones.
Who if I remember correctly Ortiz was scheduled to fight, before to the fight being cancelled or postponed due to a Staniones injury.
One more thing about Barrios, his face doesn't seem to hold up well, as some other fighter's when he's under bombardment (tends to swell, and cut).
