Why would you be pushing for the WBC to call the mandatory if you wanted Bivol vs Beterbiev next?

Fast Eddie is spoiled and entitled, so his brain doesn't work quite the same as others. He thinks that his plans for moving forward in the division are supposed to dictate what everyone else does, and are supposed to hold more importance than everyone's own means of doing business. Also, because of his money and influence, he assumes that the sanctioning bodies, mainly the WBC, will do as he says.

Quite simply his plan is to age out Beterbiev before Bivol ever shares the ring with him, while Matchroom still is getting paid for placing Smith, Matchroom fighter, in against Beterbiev, and Bivol, Matchroom, against Buatsi, Matchroom as well. In the meantime time Beterbiev, who is 38 and last fought in January, is supposed to wait 10 weeks for Smith's injury to heal, and then another 10 to 12 weeks for training camp before he even steps into the ring with Callum.

That's a fight that would happen, potentially, in September or October, which would mean he couldn't fight Bivol until Beterbiev is 39 next year. If the world would just do as he says.......
