Regardless, Figueroa is not on Inoue's level.

Or Fulton can keep him turning all night and walk him into uppercuts on the inside. Either guy can win. Only a fool or someone with an unsavory agenda believes Monster will just blow Fulton away.

This fight only goes beyond the 6th if Inoue brings the padded gloves, which is likely since he had problems with his hands before

A while back, I stated on here that Fulton would duck Inoue. I said at the time that if I was wrong, that I would apologize to Fulton and also to his fans. Keeping fingers crossed that nothing happens to disrupt or postpone this fight. If it happens on May 7, win or lose Fulton has my respect for being a true champion and warrior, going to Japan for the fight to boot! Now if we could get Crawford and Spence to grow a set and stop dancing around one another......

I was surprised the fight got made, and in a speedy fashion none the less! Credit to Fulton and everyone involved; could only wish boxing always worked this way. That being said, I also think Fulton is verging in delusion. He doesn’t have enough to beat Inoue. It would have been in his best interest to put it off for at least a couple of years Mayweather vs Paquiaio style. Inoue is the real deal and he’s going to get a comprehensive beating.

Why? I wrote that struggling with Figueroa is understandable. That means that Brandon is at least on the same level as Fulton's. I rate Figueroa quite highly.

Honestly think it would be a terrible idea for Fulton to trade in the pocket. We’ve seen what one punch from inoue could do to guys like manny Rodriguez and donaire. It was a crushing left hook and a compact straight right that served as the prelude to a stoppage. Fulton isn’t terribly difficult to find considering his label as a slick boxer, he’d be better off controlling distance at midrange to survive, but most likely it will only be a matter of time before the pressure wears him down. Could be completely wrong, but I don’t think this will be Inoue’s hardest matchup

I'll rewatch Inoue v Donaire the week before the fight before I make my pick.

You're assuming Inoue carries his crushing power up another four pounds. What if he doesn't? What if he has to box more than usual. Fulton is the naturally bigger man. Don't make the mistake of thinking just because Figueroa pushed Fulton to the ropes at time that Monster will too. Figueroa is bigger than Inoue.
