I thought of this after the first round of Cotto-Pac. All I could think of is Tommy knocking them both out. Cotto's jab was getting to Pac. Now add on Tommy's height, reach, fast sharp accurate punches he can throw stright down the middle (unlike Cotto who throws wide)...disaster.

I first thought of this when I saw Floyd-Oscar and wondered how Floyd would do with Tommy given Floyd had some trouble with Oscar's jab.

Still say Tommy could take them both out and everybody in the division except for maybe Paul Williams (if he was still fighting there). Freak vs. Freak would be a nice matchup.

Pac would have to seriously get Roach to go with it because I can't see Roach accepting unless both Hearns and Leonard have to make a catch-weight of 141 with a same day weigh-in.

I could see Floyd fighting Leonard but not Hearns.

Obviously we would favor hearns because of his size advantage.

@Benny, the argument should be based on their natural weight and in their prime.
Skill vs skill, power vs power, chin vs chin ....

So lets say Hearns and SRL were the champs at 135.
What would happen if he fought the version of:
              mayweather at 135
              pacqiao (now) at 135

There is absolutely no chance that Pac beats Tommy at ww. Hearns at 6'1 with a reach of 78 inches would be far to much for pac.

..no he wouldnt. roach is smart enough when to say when. Hearns has a jab that would lay waste to pacs angles, the height to fend him off, and a devastating cross that would drop him. I dont see pac going against duran, hearns or leonard.

From 130-140...I would favor Floyd over Pac.
I actually would give Pac his best chance now.

Hearns and Leonard would still be a bad style-matchup for Pac no matter what the weight P4P. Hearns would be a bigger challenge for Floyd P4P than Leonard although Leonard could still probably beat him and I would favor Hearns.
