Resendiz gave Hurd the business! I still think he Resendiz should go to 154, if he can! I think he would have better opponents! He's a good young fighter, with a rock solid chin! Hope to see him again soon!

Hurd was never anything more than a face-first puncher juiced to the gills.

Lara was robbed against him and he ducked the rematch with Jrock rather than take a drug test.

        Good riddance.

Exciting fighter that fizzled out pretty quickly.

Hurd isn't done he just found himself outpunched by a fresher puncher with bronze chin and lot heart ,of course long layoff also didn't help him. He still have some fight left.

I get the layoff and the reason but, first consider changing corner.

I also get that early training habits stick but, it's the pros and his health is on the line every fight. This approach makes no sense to me.

Solid inside game but, he needs to have a solid jab and a little movement. When the opponent gets tired of getting hit, he'll come in and then Hurd can unleash his inside game and reset. Rince and repeat for 5 rounds and start walking the opposition down with a mix of all three..

The long layoff definitely showed Jarrett, now you have to take another extended time off from the ring, in order to let your lip heal.
Sometimes one negative thing leads to another negative thing, and so on, and so forth, I don't know where your boxing career is headed.

retire bro. You use your face as defense too much. You made it to a point where not many boxer do.

He did not embarrass himself. But he did not exactly give the impression of a fighter in his prime either.

Hurd does not need to retire, but he needs to work back down a division and really watch who he fights. Young Guns will hurt him. I think he needs to accept where he is in his career.

HUH??? You have never seen him early in his career when he was responsible defense first and ferocious offense second. After his all action fight with Tony Harrison in 2017 Hurd became really popular for that fan friendly style and his game plan turned to no defense all offense, just to appease the fans. He was not robbed vs Lara because that knockdown in the final round sealed the deal. And he never refused to take a drug test to duck the Jrock rematch. Geez...good riddance to your post! lol
