Brandon Figuero vs Manny Pacquiao @Featherweight

Brandon's victory was spectacular. Pacquiao might as well resort to excessive holding and lose 4 points if he faced a giant like Brandon. Manny will be outclassed in every round and will be exhausted reaching for the much bigger man before being stopped late by Figuero if they ever fight.

Magsayo can only box for 6 rounds until fading away. If he ever wants to be a world champion again, he needs to find a new strength and conditioning coach.

Don't think Pacquiao had the strongest featherweight run but he had defeated Barrera at 122 and had a draw with Marquez at 126.

Should be skilled enough to have beaten Figueroa, but who knows, he could prove me wrong though as he gets continuously gets better wins in the upcoming years as he frequently takes big challenges. (Ceja, Castro, Nery, Fulton, and Magsayo)

Also think Johnny Tapia vs Brandon Figueroa would have been a barn burner.

What’s your issue with Pac? Every week another fighter wins a fight and for some dumb phuckin reason you create a thread about how that fighter would beat one of the best fighters that ever lived. Last week it was Neri and this week it’s Figueroa. You’re an idiot.

Pacquiao vs Barrera was at 126lbs for the lineal title.

In regards to Pacquiao vs Figueroa, Manny would likely win a wide decision. Manny had issues with two types of fighters at 122 lbs and above: dirty brawlers and elite counterpunchers.

No disrespect to Figueroa, he's a good fighter in his era and I like the kid, but Pacquiao would steamroll him at 126lbs.

That's right. Manny Pacquiao's featherweight run may not have been the strongest when compared to other boxers in that weight class, but he did have significant victories and accomplishments during that time, which I suspect is when he began using PEDS. Pacquiao fought a washed-up Marco Antonio Barrera in 2003, and his victory helped establish him as a rising star in the sport.
