In Floyd's first fight at 147, he fought a very underrated Sharmba Mitchell, then fought the best Zab anyone has ever saw, then won the lineal title at welter, no welter who is at welter now has ever won the lineal title there, he then fought a former welter champ in Hatton and just fought the number 2 p4p guy there. But you say all Pac has to do is fight Cotto there and a dead Oscar, both of whom he is draining, Cotto fight isnt even at a full 147.

If a fighter drains a fighter doesnt matter if that fighter is bigger if he's ineffective because of the drainage, Roach is a smart man and I give him credit for pulling off such crafty manuevers.

Cotto is a better welterweight than anyone Floyd has fought. But you make a good point about Mitchell being underrated. Hatton wasn't at his best at 147 and Manny ko'd him at 140. I think I would lean towards Pac having the better resume at 147 if he beats Cotto.

zab is a natural 140 guy.

just because he beat goddamn cory spinks don't make him a welterweight any more than pacquiao beating cotto makes pac a welterweight.
