Would Ohara beat Barroso at this stage? I think he might, wouldn't mind seeing that fight

Bottom line is, Ritson is skilled but Davies was hungry, like we said on the podcast. He's clearly trying to improve his style.

Ritson talked all the crap that he will beat this guy and that guy but should had worried about the guy in front of him.

Ritson’s career has been an odd one

when he was British Champion, he defended it and an the belt outright by smashing everybody in the first round

obviously there’s a difference between British level and world level, but when you get somebody running through British level such ease, .usually they at least go onto be some kind of fringe contender at world level, but it’s like he went completely backwards very quickly.

Davies is ok though, just don’t think he’s quite skilled enough when it comes to facing a well schooled boxer above british level. He can **** though, he could do ok above domestic level if he gets an opponent willing to abandon their boxing skills and get into a shootout with him

To be fair to OD, he's only ever lost to Josh Taylor. A man who went on to be undisputed. He has a loss to Caterall on his record but most that saw the fight thought he did enough to win and Jack went on to be the only man to ever beat Taylor, despite what boxrec says.

RItson was never really in the fight and that shows Davies is a level above. Be interesting to see if he can win a world title now the belts have scattered
