Did not see anything in the 1st fight that indicates Canelo can be better in a rematch .............

He can go eat a tainted whale and he is still going down if he fights Bivol again.
There are no more checks after this so Bivol doesn't have to hold up.

I have been one of the few people who? Still gives Alvarez a definitive chance of beating Bivol 'In the rematch and at 175 pounds'.

Skill for skill, I don't think Bivol is on another level to Alvarez.

Alvarez is a superior fighter than Bivol in two area's 'Which are his inside game, and defense on attack'.

Bivol is a superior fighter from long range, and has greater endurance 'Possibly more gears to shift through'.

But? BIvol is not miles better than Alvarez in these area's. Alvarez's lack of elite level endurance, under-par movement amplifies Bivol's best attributes.

In comparison I don't think Bivol has much of a inside game. If Alvarez is able to apply his best attributes in the rematch consistently. then he can theoretically win.

Alvarez has to somehow improve his endurance, and ability to close the distance at speed 'And keep the fight in a zone where Bivol, has not really shown any elite ability' Tactically this is how I see Alvarez pushing Bivol really close etc.

The fight at 168 pounds is not the same kind of challenge for Alvarez 'Because Bivol 's abilities will be decreased all around'. There is no benefit for Bivol fighting at 168 pounds, when he is already a highly conditioned and solid at the 175 pound limit.

The rematch for most value and prestige should be staged at the 175 pound limit.

I hope this pointless, lame ass fight doesn't happen.

              Bring on Bivol vs Beterbiev!

Bivol lacks the opponents to show us how good he could really be

likely that Alvarez will be the only great he fought

If UDvol sits on his punches like crazy, he would get tired too. He is using his fists economically.

I suspect Bivol to fight the same way he did in the first fight. I know some don't believe this but to me, Bivol is straight up and down, no special effects kind of boxer. There's no ability to fight a different way in him, in my opinion.

Canelo can at least go out there to point fight.

He's still a plodder. But he does have the ability to stick and avoid. I can imagine Canelo doing what he did with GGG in the 2nd fight. Although Bivol is a lot bigger and likely has longer arms (I didn't check the reach, I'm assuming here)

No. He should fight like he did against Jacobs. He lacked jabs and sat on his punches in GGG 2.
