Here’s the straight dope. Bivol EASILY beat Canelo in the first fight by employing a great defense, not being intimidated in the slightest, excellent use of length, a tremendous jab and an unbelievable control of distance. Any boxing trainer will tell the way to offset these thing are with fast feet and/or reach. Canelo has neither. Bad style matchup for Canelo. Unless going to 168 seriously effects Bivol, Canelo flat out can’t beat him.
