Benavidez is now living and training right in my backyard of Seattle-his father invited us into one of his training camps to watch sparring…David finished 12 rounds got on a bike and then got off to take pictures with two of my sons and David can talk boxing both past and present with the best of them.

Benavidez is going to run over Plant. David is a a fighter made for rounds 8-12 and Caleb has shown us on multiple occasions how sloppy he gets down the stretch. Hell he looked gassed against a totally shot Caleb Truax at times late in the fight. David will carry him much too fast for his liking early in the fight-Breadman has seen it first hand when he told Kyrone Davis that Benavidez had shot his load…shot his load…David hadnt even gotten fully hard yet and kept it on Davis for every moment after Edwards said “he shot his load” (Plant is half as durable as the undersized Davis)

David Benavidez is everything and more that Zurdo Ramirez was supposed to be. With Bread or without him Plant is ****ed.
lmao he isn’t close to as good as Ramirez. I don’t understand all the benevidez hype. If u can fight off ur back foot u will give him problems. If u can get him fighting off his back foot he’s even more screwed. He will follow plant around like he’s on a leash and walk face first into punches nodding and sticking his tongue out like his brother does. Bumavidez literally has the worst record of any fighter claiming to be elite that I’ve ever seen. Plant not even that good but he’ll make David look ordinary even if loses

I doubt this fight is going to be exciting. Plant is a runner and he's going to run around the ring for as long as he can. Dont let his last KO fool anybody cuz he isn't going to exchange with Benavidez. He is going to attempt to box his way to a boring decision but David isnt going to give him that space.

Would you ever call Sugar Ray Leonard a runner? No? Well, why don’t you watch his 2nd fight with Duran and watch how he “ran” the whole fight.
After that, watch his big fights at the higher weight class and see him “run”.

Ray Leonard is my favorite WW of all time and I wouldnt call him a runner because he is NOT. There is a difference between boxing and running and Plant is nothing like Leonard. Leonard was a multi-dimensional, complete fighter and he just showed a different dimension to his game against Duran. He did what he had to do and made Duran quit .

But then his strategy against Rosario or Charlo was terrible.

It’s not like one specific fight or anything I’m judging him from, I just think he’s one of these new-school guys who unnecessarily over complicates things, less is more sometimes.

Prepare Plant for a whole lot of knots on his head and face, cuts in his mouth and over his eyes... Prepare him to look like Rocky Dennis

He did what he had to do” … this line is acceptable when speaking about the great SRL but when Plant decides to “do what he has to do” to beat Benavidez, you’ll call him a “runner”.

Humor please, do you think Floyd is a “runner”?
And just FYI, SRL “ran in almost all his fights above the Welter Weight division. All you have to do is just go to YouTube.

To be clear, SRL is one of my favorite fighters and I don’t consider that strategy “running”. If I wanna watch caveman fighting style I can go to the bar near me and watch drunks throw haymakers at each other.

SRL ran in the hagler fight. And the 2nd Duran fight was a mummers farce. Really the only fight I’d say he ran in was SRL hagler
