Comments Thread For: Pacquiao Advisor Says He's 'Waiting On' Promoter Hearn for Possible Conor Benn Fight

Conor Benn may have garnered the kind of clarity needed to lure someone like Manny Pacquiao into the ring. Benn, the embattled British welterweight, was the recipient of some favorable news recently when the World Boxing Council wrapped up its investigation of his two positive drug tests by deeming that a "highly elevated consumption of eggs" was a credible explanation.

Pacqiao fans are just about to anoint Connor Benn the loftiest position on the WW ranking. They’ll regale us with tales so marvelous sanctifying Pacqiao as the greatest to ever lace them, just like they did when he fought the ATG Brandon Rios or the many catchweight fights he was involved in.
Connor Benn is a great talent that will Pacqiao into the stratosphere of boxing pantheons. Unmatched by anyone on planet earth.

Benn is a world class athlete

I’m always advocating for fighters to land the biggest fights possible and make as much $$ possible, but giving Benn this fight it’s rewarding him for popping dirty. I can’t see the public backing this fight.

Can't tell if your comment is sarcasm or not. Surely you're joking about Benn being world class, and then nit picking Pacquiao's record by bringing up Rios? Haha...

          Go away, number 48!

          Stop fighting boxers! Especially cheaters!

I like this for both fighters! Manny could make a boat load of cash, either in the UK or Abu Dhabi, and Conor Benn gets to fight a legend!

At this point in his career why is Pacquiao still fighting?

he has achieved more then enough and his legacy in the ring speaks for itself in the sport regardless to what some might say..

Benn ought to be facing other fighters in his division tbh...

Its a money grab on both sides, but that really relies on if the public buys into this bullshxt.
