floyd is not pointing fingers at anyone, not the brits who wont pay much for ppv's, not the organisers who got the ticket sale date wrong, not his team for somehow messing up

If Floyd wanted to fill the O2 he should have done an Exhibiton with Ricky Hatton.

...how about he do like his pops and Uncle Roger did and train the next generation of guys and hang up prizefighting for good...did he think he was going to make a career out of fighting 0 risk opponents?
Floyd investing time in training someone would mean him giving up his time to someone else, for free. That will never happen, not for another 15-20 years.

Yeah this. It’s a sideshow, so at least make it interesting.

He knows. That’s why he’s retired from boxing 5 years now. His LAST official fight was in 2017, you didn’t know that?
Pacqiao is also retired but did an exhibition fight last year. Joe Louis and Ali both did exhibition fights after they retired. Did you not know that?

UK has a storied history in boxing going back to the bareknuckle era. They don't wanna pay to see a farce. And that's how this should be viewed. Archie Moore put his ass on the line for fans until he was well into his 50's. So did Bernard Hopkins. They never lost their faculties. Bernard is articulate as he ever was. Saoul Mamby had a pro fight when he was around 60 against a real boxer. So Floyd being like 46 and saying he won't fight a real boxer, is getting corny to the world. Its cool, its your choice, but then if that's the case, go sit your ass down and eat some milk and cookies and sit in your rocking chair. Stop forcing this played out, BS niche market on fans that no one wants to see. Redeem yourself fool! Fight an exhibition with Antonio Margarito, who u ran from like a theif in the night when u were both in your prime. Fight an exhibition with Kostya Tszyu. Fight old man GGG, since you were talking all this BS how u would best him easy. Fight a young killer like Boots Ennis, like Robinson and all the other greats would have done, or take ur BS 50-0 record with Connor McGregor on it as one of ur so-called official wins, and go sit your narrow ass down somewhere lol

Ricky Hatton is talking about doing an exhibition fight, hopefully what you say about Brit fans stays true. It would be funny to see Hatton sell out an arena against a soccer player or an MMA guy, don’t you think?

Pacqiao just did an exhibition against a YouTuber and said there’s more to come, how do you feel about that?
Floyd is 46 and retired, why would he fight Boots? Would you expect Pacqiao to fight Boots after being retired 5 years?

its a fine line between finding an opponent that will get fans excited and one that will cause less problems, actually its a very common boxing problem

the trick solution to it is to find over matched opponents & still get paid very well but alas only a selected few seem to be able to do this

Joe Louis and Ali I am willing to bet, fought a few exhibitions for old times sake. They didn't seek to make a career out of scamming the public fighting overmatched opponents like Floyd did. It's his bed let him lay in it.
