So how good is Brandun Lee in actuality?

Brandun Lee currently at 23 years old, holds a record of 27 wins with 23 knockouts. He has an impressive amateur record of 181-9 and won the golden medal for the United States national amateur boxing championships. However so far, he hasn't faced a recognizable name.

    He beaten:
-Will Madera by UD but got caught and knocked down, Madera got knocked out in the first round by Felix Verdejo.
-Juan Heraldez by seventh round knockout, was short work for Regis Prograis who knocked him out in the 3rd round.

Unlike Keyshawn Davis, he had debuted relatively early on his career at 18 years old and accumulated about as many fights as Errol Spence.

He is going to fight Pedro Campa on April 8, in the undercard of Sebastian Fundora vs Brian Mendoza.

Not impressed. He's also being fed the Cameron Dunkin special of stiffs to pad his KO record.

He probably needs to dump his dad because he hasn't been making much progress. He has potential but Im not blown away by the guy. His handlers dont seem to have too much confident in him yet given how slowly they are moving him.

Given his level of competition so far, hard to say with any certainty. He sure passes the eye test though.

He parted ways with Dunkin already and joined PBC.

Recently, Dunkin lost one of his highly regarded clients, rising junior welterweight Brandun Lee, after their contract expired last year. Lee subsequently signed an advisory deal with Haymon, the founder of Premier Boxing Champions, which showcases its vast roster of fighters, including Spence and Thurman, on Showtime, its exclusive network partner. Ennis’ situation is unique because while he regularly appears on Showtime cards, he is not a Haymon-advised fighter.

He doesn't necessarily need to dump his father, but perhaps join a different camp with a trainer with actual experience with elite contenders, every fighter goes at a different pace but the way Lee's career is developing, he isn't going to make any improvements despite his activity.

-Devin Haney had Jorge Linares, Joseph Diaz and Kambosos.
-Vergil Ortiz Jr had Maurice Hooker and Egidijus Kavaliauskas.
-Jaron Ennis had Thomas Dulorme and Sergey Lipinets.
-Teofimo Lopez had Masayoshi Nakatani, Richard Commey and Vasily Lomachenko.
-Ryan Garcia had Luke Campbell and Javier Fortuna. (I am aware he fought the former at 21 years old)
-Gervonta Davis had Jose Pedraza and Liam Walsh.
-David Benavidez had Anthony Dirrell and Roamer Alexis Angulo.

Brandun Lee has way more activity and experience compared to all the fighters I mentioned when they were the same age as him yet he had Zachary Ochoa, Will Madera who almost took him out and Diego Gonzalo Luque, this is despite that he debuted at 17 years old.

He’s good but hasn’t been tested yet to see how good. At 23 I think they are moving quickly enough.
