That's what fear does to people. If Wilder had any confidence in himself he would have taken that deal and would have settled for life win of loss. But fear wouldn't allow him to think straight. Instead he gambled on an out of shape Fury and lost badly.Crazy how wrong this dude's career went. Nearly 100% KO percentage, american olympian.....but speaks like a slave straight outta 1865, and requires an old 90 year old white man to make decisions for him, talking him out of nearly 100 million dollars and a chance to be an undisputed champion.
Instead he gets buck broken for 33 rounds for a fraction of the money.Comment

Any American fighter that has to go to Saudi Arabia or Middle East to fight means they can’t draw flies in the United States. Devin Haney can’t sell out a ballroom in Vegas and he’s undisputed but he’s his own boss and promoter I guess.

Hmmm...
I guess from a business prospective Wilder sees the Middle East as a gold mine when it comes to professional boxing matches.
a newly tapped market with a boxing interest to host fights that the public over there would like to see....
plus he would be able to make some decent money with the right fights there if he plays his cards right and racks up some victories in the process..Comment
