Pacquiao was a title holder too, but he never fought him, so there's that too! Ortiz Jr. is the better fighter, who has been asking for Crawford for at least a year, but Oscar steers him to Stanionis, and Rocha, who lost to Rashidi Ellis, towards Crawford! I don't understand his logic.

Resume matters. But if the word is only being used by people who don’t like the fact that Terence Crawford has been considered the best p4p fighter in the sport for so many years the word loses meaning. Repeating that word over and over again just becomes a desperate ploy for hoping that if you keep attempting to discredit his resume that he’ll stop being considered the best p4p fighter in the sport. And he couldn’t be that easy to discredit because y’all have been trying really hard for a long time now and it obviously hasn’t worked because he is still widely considered to be the best.

The logic is that Ortiz is more valuable is than Rocha to golden boy, and there's a good chance Crawford could beat both. Golden boy would rather take the chances with Rocha who already has a loss, isn't a big star, and is slightly older than Ortiz. Best case Rocha pulls off upset and brings a belt over to GBP, worst case is Crawford beats him and sets up fight with Ortiz.
