    He's right.

If Loma had a chance, it was about 2 or 3 years ago, but now Haney's got his grown man body and is too big for 135 and Loma's been past his prime

If Loma didn't spend a huge chunk of his 20s beating up on kids in the amateurs, he probably would have a much better resume.

Power doesn’t mean much so I wouldn’t bank on that being a factor. How about we talk about speed, timing, one of the best jabs in boxing, height/weight advantage & defensive capabilities? All which Haney carries an advantage over Loma.
Power didn’t stop Haney from negating Kambosos and turning his face into a meat-grinder - in fact it wasn’t power that made Kambosos think twice about coming forward, it was accuracy and the fear of getting countered. Also, the Lopez fight definitely wasn’t ‘far’ more marketable. Lopez looked like sh..t against Nakhatani in a fight most thought was close. If you had a time-machine you’d go back and watch Haney-Loma instead. Teo has been a dud, lost to Kambosos in a huge upset & got dropped twice against Sandor Martin in a fight he should’ve lost. Teo was the easier option, no kind of revisionist history is changing that. Loma tried to avoid Haney and this is the consequence.
What exactly is the consequence? You are talking as if it is a foregone conclusion that Haney beats Loma. Nobody was looking Haney's way then 'cos he was a dud and isn't marketable and Arum has made it clear that he is in business to make money, what part of that is not factual?. And as we all know, Arum does in-house fight over anything else and Lopez-Loma was no different, same way Loma-Haney this go around is no different so if you still want to say Loma avoided him in light of that, you have at it. You are comparing a Kambosos to a Lomachenko caliber of fighter, dude you lost me right there. Like I said and I 'll repeat, Haney will need more than just a few accurate jabs to beat a Loma type fighter. If that is all he is relying on and assuming Loma's legs aren't shot, then the fight gets extremely interesting 'cos Loma like Tank know to effectively close distance.

Haney is the only holder of the belts in the division, and this is Devin's last fight under Top Rank, the same promoter, Arum, who is extremely loyal to Loma and will make sure that he gets the fight and protects his best interests, like the fight happening in May, which Loma preferred, instead of March, as Devin had asked for. Its not because Vasily just wanted this fight, and its not in his DNA to turn it down. If he doesn't take the fight, Shakur will, and then, its pick your poison.
Exactly. Loma has a better shot of beating Haney than he does of beating Shakur. If he doesn't fight Haney now, Shakur will in the Fall, and if that happens, Haney likely won't have his belts anymore.

His carcass is enough to beat weightbully mediocre talents like you.

I wanted to see Loma vs Shakur but we took Loma vs Shakur Lite because of Cumbosos.

Anyway, Loma by UD if he has decent training camp.

Your mistake is implying Haney is Floyd Mayweather or near his level. LOL

Floyd Mayweather implied that not me. Nobody is on Floyd’s level! Stylistically he’s probably the closest.
