plus if bob really wanted loma to beat teo and continue on with loma the scorecards would never have been that wide against him, teo got the a side cards in that fight

and the fallout, loma basically called bob out online and bob responded with barbs against loma, bob does not like being critised, i would say their relationship is bad after that, id say loma cant stand him and maybe the other way around too

Bob was just in an interview last week talking about how much he loved and appreciated Loma. He said that after working with Loma, and seeing how easy it was, and their relationship, he was now open to sign and work with other Eastern European and former Soviet Union boxers, something that he wasn't very open to before Loma.

Also I didn't say that he wasn't ready for those fights, just that those opportunities weren't given to anyone else. Loma was a long time amateur, so in turning professional, his body was more mature and he had significantly more experience than others first coming in.

A Loma on the edge can deny the clincher opportunities to clinch/hold... That's an interesting fight indeed ... Loma is still good enough to make some fireworks ...

It’s funny because before the Jamaine Ortiz fight they were saying Loma beats Haney, then reality kicked in.
Loma looks great against stagnant come forward sluggers.. he’ll always look ‘special’ against guys like Commey and Nakhatani. He had more problems against guys like Pedraza, Ortiz & Campbell (albeit C level guys) because they aren’t one dimensional

Bingo. I’m glad fans aren’t buying into the age excuse. Loma didn’t look anywhere near supreme against Linares and that was 5 years ago.. they just need a built in excuse to hold onto.

Lomachenko simply has to not do what he did with Teofimo and will probably win. If he gets the timing on Haney's jab, that's a checkmate. It's all the bull throws, so once that is timed, the match is completely over. Decision Lomachenko.
It’s called punch selection actually. Floyd after becoming Money barely threw combinations & dominated the majority of fighters he’d been in with. Loma couldn't even do what he had to do against C level Ortiz.. you think he has the IQ to time Haney LOL?

exactly, loma was ready for those fights at his age etc, he probably demanded and make it clear to bob about this before he signed and bob said yes, thats different situation to others even tho moving from ams to pro can be hard and some do it well and some take time, it was great to see ambition and a fighter and promoter working together to make it happen, if shakur or any other good guy stayed in the ams that late and was ready for a fast start in the pros he would get it too because promoters want to make money and generate excitement and hype about their guy, it was pointless having loma take tune up after tune up in his situation and he proved the decision correct too

and oh yeah bob and loma had a huge falling out, they may have made up but i doubt everything is just fine, that was a bad one

loma has always looked a bit shakey at 135, i mean hes done well and u could say very well, but found it a lot harder than 126 and 130 so i expect haney to win but loma should put up a decent scrap and cause some problems

Lots of boxing mileage on Loma. Hes also fighting above his true fighting weight. Haney should whip him i
I see a very boring fight between the two. If Loma was 5 years younger this would be a damn good fight

Loma is not in his prime at all, not debatable. You do not see fighters with at the time of his first surgery less than 13 fights fights. Thats what happens to aging fighters. The body wears down when you have had over 400 fights. His Boxing age and Chronological age are both past prime. On top of that, fighting above his best weight class doesn't help matters at all. Just like a 36 year old Haney fighting one of the prime lightweights in a decade plus, it would be expected that he would lose. Loma should walk off into the sunset after the Haney fight and let the younger generation take the spotlight, like Stevenson, Haney, Davis, Garcia, etc.
