i thought he would beat fury so yeah it must be bad or else fury was a bit better than expected so they are just both pretty crap, fury hit the jackpot with this fight, he has zero chance of making it as a pro boxer i would say

Very impressive work by Jake Paul. I thought he won that fight and he will KO Tommy Fury in a rematch

I thought Jake would get a KO. I expected Tommy to bottle it the same way JCC Jr embarrassed boxing losing to mid 40s Silvia.

Instead Jake was widely outclassed by D level Tommy. Jake is actually worse than I expected but its his first time after 4 years of training fighting a boxer.

In a rematch Tommy only has to make some slight adjustments while Jake needs to fix nearly everything. Tommy needs to step back or to the side after throwing combos because Jake just grabs on to him and holds on for dear life every time they get close. Tommy already has a superior sense of distance so this would be an easy adjustment. I didnt hear his nimwit coach saying anything about it. maybe they will get an actual coach but they dont need to reinvent the wheel just tweak some things.

It went exactly as i expected/predicted. Tommy isn't anything special at all, but he's still far more skilled than Jake Paul.

Paul got schooled, i gave him 1 round.

A bit better than I thought he would do , even I predicted a draw he boxed cleaner than I thought he would , Tommy fought more conservative then I thought in the first few rounds which was smart . If this was 10 rounds I think it favors Jake because he’s used to late rounds . Jake’s improving , I’m not sure who I’d pick in the rematch no round was actually a dominant round for either guy ,only a Fury fan would claim a schooling took place they live in their own little world and Tommy acted like he just beat Mike Tyson after the fight despite him not recognizing Jake as a real boxer , he’s definitely a Fury .

From a strictly boxing point of view I rate Jake's performance poorly. I overrated him a bit in my mind and didn't expect him to telegraph his shots so much and get so tired towards the end. I could go on about his boxing, however, when I remember this is a youtuber that recently picked up boxing, his strength, chin and fighting spirit impressed me. Especially when I consider he shared the ring with a young undefeated boxer that comes from a real boxing family.

Jake has nothing to be ashamed of, but I wouldn't recommend he fights Tommy Fury again. He should go in a different direction, at least for the time being.

He needs to get in better shape in the rematch, at least match Fury's almost perfect condition. Perhaps get a better conditioning coach. Paul was already gassing out in the 4th round. I don't think it's easy to defend those quick, sudden bursts of combos from Fury. A lesser fighter would crumble, but not Jake to his credit. What more could Fury bring other than what he already showed in the fight?
