Close fight and the second knockdown was questionable. Adorno has to drop back down.

Steve Farhood's card was also pretty bad. The two judges with reasonable cards had Adorno winning most of the first 5 and Rodriguez winning most of the last 5 rounds which seems right to me. I feel Adorno was unlucky to not have the knock down he scored counted and to later have a knock down called against him when it looked like he slipped.

Rodriguez is kinda stuck between two levels in his development right now, not sure what they do with him. Don't think he's good enough to beat contenders at this stage, but he'll run over 2nd tier guys. Maybe an aging Barroso if they can convince him to give up his mando spot, I'm sure they are hoping to get to a Elvis/Puello Dominican showdown for the belt if they can maneuver it

I was never sold on Adorno close fight but Rodriguez edged it imo.

Adorno looked good in the first half. Strange that Farhood didn’t see it that way.

I could see that, is Rolly-Puello still being explored? Maybe a Barthelemy fight for Rodriguez?

In the past I thought Jamal was going to make a bit of noise at WW.
