1. It’s more than a few and if you’re not living in Mexico, you can’t compare yourself to people who do.
2. Canelo’s stardom didn’t come from Mexico and that’s not why Floyd fought him. It came from him spending the previous 3 1/2 yrs fighting in the us, fighting on Floyd’s undercard, being associating Oscar and sharing the ring with guys like Mosley, cintron, trout etc. it’s the Mexican American groupies that made Canelo, not Mexican fans because they don’t do the groupie thing.
