if you weren’t horn in Mexico, you can’t speak for Mexico either nor can you make a point by making up fake stats. And like I said, real Mexicans are boxing fans , the Mexican Americans for the most part are just groupies of Mexican boxers like Canelo to try and over compensate for the fact that they’re not real Mexicans.

There’s real money in the US bro, ultimately what it comes down to.Instead of bringing his home country fans a big fight, he brings them Ryder?? Slap in the face to the real boxing fans of that country. All the major fights happen for the Mexican American fan base celebrating watered down “Mexican” holiday like 5 de Mayo and he brings his real people a tune up.Comment

Mexican Americans have more in common with canelo than let’s say they do with white or black Americans lolif you weren’t horn in Mexico, you can’t speak for Mexico either nor can you make a point by making up fake stats. Not necessarily true because if we’re being honest, most Latinos and blacks in the US grow up in the same neighborhoods, go to the same schools and are in the same environments, which is quite different than being born and raised in Mexico.

You from the east coast maybe that’s the case for Puerto Ricans n Dominicans
but with Mexicans specially in Texas and western states
they keep slot of their parents culture, they watch the same soap operas eat the same food listen to the same music willingly or un willingly growing up with their Mexican parents
spanish spoken almost everywhere they go not to mention California all the way to Texas is heavily MexicanComment

If that’s true then why are there so many west coast/mid west Mexican Americans who don’t Speak Spanish? And I’ve been to Texas and Cali and know this to be true and it’s also prevalent just in the boxing world. Ryan Garcia nor his parents speak Spanish and there are several other examples just like that.

like I said, if you’re not born and raised in Mexico, you’re not the same as a Mexican who was. And it’s mainly Mexican Americans who try to compensate for not being real Mexicans that go extra hard in their fandom for canelo. Most real Mexicans are boxing fans first and call bs regardless if it’s one of their own or not. Mexican Americans are more of the blinded by love groupie type.
