Why didnt these two agree to fight in 2002, when both were in there prime and both were fighting out who was the real P4P King.

Why did they choose to fight 7 years later, when both men are past there best.

vs Calzaghe he should been more active, yes. I said many times if he had his legs even an OLD Jones could/would beat Joe. Obviously he didn't have them. Age and being overwhelmed with a cut had much to play in that. A long with Joe being one of the best in terms of conditioning.

Yes Roy toyed with Lacey longer than he had too. He just let the crowd get what they wanted which was a show.

IMO in Roy's prime. Lets say right after his first "loss"/DQ, I think he ("RJ") would have embarrassed the no name (Calzaghe) at that time.

Fast forward to today you have an old(er) yet still FAST Roy Jones and an older crafty Hopkins. I give both a chance.
It wasn't just the legs of Roy that time. He simply looked wrong. He didn't punch when Calzaghe put his face right to him. He just looked wrong. He could have done better I think.

Hopkins fought, and beat up, bigger fighters than himself. Shows how much you know.

So what? Don't mean people can't talk about his previous fights.

If people think Roy can beat B-Hop they are entitled to their opinion, but he isn't stopping Hopkins period. He couldn't even get a hurt Trinidad out of there and went the distance with Anthony Hanshaw who was sparked by a fighter who I don't think is devastating where power is concerned in Andre Dirrell. And I kind of like this 60% to the winner for a KO though. I hope that is incentive to get these two guys to take chances and not produce a snooze fest. And when the fight happens, I'll bet some of my points on B-Hop.

Cuz they're still very much able, and are going to make a nice sum?

Couldn't and wouldn't are different things. Did he really look like he had bad intentions in there?
