Hope that wasn't intended for me. I'm no Roytard. Calling me one would be rather ignorant. I'm speaking from facts. If it is medically possible for him to not have been fully ok after the huge weight loss, then it is very much a fine excuse. He was fighting at an elite level. He got caught while possibly being weaker than normal. If you knew for a fact that he wasn't somehow drained, then ok.

He's not going to fight Tarver, First of all Tarver is lefty so he ain't even a good tune up for fighting Roy, Second, Tarver would probably want to much money for a rematch that is so unnecessary it makes Dawson/Tarver 2 look like the ultimate grudge match of the century.

Controversial split decision is beating him clean? Only a stan would say that.

A tune up fight isn't the same as a sparring session. It is meant to sharpen a fighter/get rid of rust. After the losses(Tarver's), I'd guess they'd be able to come to a monetary agreement. They already had a fight, so it isn't out of the question. Plus, I'd think Tarver would very much like a shot at someone on the level of Bernard, if he wants to try again.

Agree, His Kessler win was his best performance.

One thing is for certain he was light years closer to his prime then Roy or Hopkins.

I think you missed his point. Roy lossed all that weight for the first Tarver fight. Which by the way he fought evenly. He used the weight as an excuse on that one. Which I think it was a good excuse. On the second fight he got KO'd. Where he had the best personal strength and conditioning trainer in the game. He still got KO'd the weight loss should not of been an excuse for the second fight. That is why Tarver said do you have anymore excuses tonight.
