He was about 16 years old when he started boxing. I'm not sure about you, but I'm no where near the weight I was at 16 years old, lol. He was already fighting in featherweight in his early 20s which makes sense. His flyweight weight was just a young kid who hadn't fully grown yet. He was basically fighting almost malnourished. His body had yet to fill out his younger frame. I'd say it did so in his early 20s where he maintained a solid body for his featherweight bouts where he basically is weighing in similar each fight, whether he fought at 122-126 or as high as 130. He went into the WW division as he approached his 30s which made more sense, since you hold more weight over 28.

Now I'm not in anyway saying he was malnourished once he hit his 20s and moved up. That is when he in fact, grew properly. The rest of it was natural weight gain. He didn't jump 4 divisions overnight. They were spread out and add to the fact that lighter weight fighters have easier weight classes between to hit. Just look at how minimal the jump in weights are for all of these,- Super flyweight (112-115lbs)
- Bantamweight (115-118lbs)
- Super bantamweight (118-122lbs)
- Featherweight (122-126lbs)
- Super featherweight (126-130lbs)

I'm saying when he was around 15-16 fighting he was. That was well documented. He was underweight for the division and wouldn't be even allowed to fight if he hadn't snuck in weights into his pockets to add to the scale.

You shut up! Nery is a straight up cheater. In his first 118 title shot, he was caught with banned substances. In his second title shot, he missed weight by 3 ******** pounds! Better than him? If taking PEDs and not having the professionalism to make weight makes him better in your mind, then your way of thinking is phucked up. I can’t think of one current fighter that I respect less than Nery and it was a pleasure to watch Brandon take him apart. And it will be a pleasure to watch Inoue do the same.
The rest of this post is just agenda serving bu!!shyteComment

O yea were or are you a fighter in those classes that has actually done and experienced what you are asserting here as a fact? As for Pacquiao it doesn't matter if he went up gradually or quickly the point is that he jumped all those divisions without losing a step. Fighters go up 3-4 maybe 5 divisions and you can see the abilities are not the same. They lose either speed, agility, resistance, power, endurance or everything! Pacquiao kept them all! And keep in mind he coming from lower divisions did so with the passage of time! Highly unlikely to be done naturally
I'm sure you're on the Mayweather juice and think Pac was on something, but since I must say it since I can suspect your questioning things, Pac has never been caught once on anything and Mayweather on the other had.Comment

You missed my point my man. I literally said, all those lighter weights are relative to each other. Pacquiao not missing a step is because his weight in conjunction to his height was perfect for those divisions. He gains a lb, loses a lb and he's basically in the same weight classes. The key to his success was 1. His will power to fight hard as f**k no matter who was in front of him and 2. His speed. It wasn't exactly perfected to utilize it with power until he hooked up with Roach but he was a raw natural talent before he got with Roach and that got him through rocky situations.
