We've heard that narrative before from most of his opponents, and it's not like he came up with it...

If he gets past Fulton, I really doubt he's got anything to fear from Nery, not that such a fight will ever happen due to Nery's lifetime ban in Japan. Inoue will want the unification with MJ if he wins, in any case, and Hearn has already said they're interested in that.

He should be banned. In fact, they should overturn the loss on the Japanese guy so he could of continued to try and make history (at that time, not now).

I hate to say it, but can we make a thread of which countries get bust the most for illegal activities in boxing? I think Mexico takes the cake on it. If they're not packing bricks in their gloves, they're being bust for PEDs, even at the highest level (Ahem *Clenelo*).

Why weren't Hearn and MJ interested in the Fulton fight all this time?

Nery a very good fighter but naoya is top of the game, unfortunately i see mexican losing if he mix it up with the monster.

Personally, I'd bet on too much risk for too little reward. Hearn loves feeding his relatively unknown champions to the mainstream moneymakers. Unification with Fulton wouldn't make any money. That's why Fulton is going to Japan for the fight. And we should ALSO note that Hearn said nothing about wanting the winner. They specified that they want Inoue if he wins, but didn't make any mention of wanting Fulton if he wins. Make of that what you will, but I know I've got my money on ducks.

Another bum who talking shıt and would get KO'd with ease. Naoya is the closest thing to monster. His punching ability relatively to his body size is phenomenal.

MJ broke his hand in his last fight. Pretty sure they were looking at the matchup until then. Now MJ has mandatories.

Unification trumps mandatory fights, so the sanctioning bodies couldn't penalize them for making the fight.

There's always money in an undisputed fight, Fulton is no exception. Sounds like a classic, clear duck and banking on a huge payday even if MJ loses to Inoue.
