Comments Thread For: Tony Harrison Feels Tim Tszyu Made a Huge Mistake in Agreeing To Face Him

Former WBC junior middleweight champion Tony Harrison is still in disbelief that Tim Tszyu decided to risk his mandatory status by facing him on March 11. Harrison will travel to Australia to face Tszyu - with the vacant WBO interim-junior middleweight title at stake. Showtime will televise the fight in the United States.

If Tim wins this fight, it would give him more confidence to face Charlo but it's risky.

This guy was all over the place. I wish I cold see the actual interview. Sometimes, the way people say things help keeps what they are saying in perspective. Harrison:

        -Called him ******.
-Built up for a fraud defense if Tszyu backs out of the fight that he did not have to take in the first place.
-Admits he would have never stepped up and done this himself because it is ****** business.
-Is grateful enough to want to hug him.

I mean seriously all over the verbal scale of random here. Good on Tszyu for offering this fight, props to Harrison to be willing to travel to get it, and thanks Tony for whatever THAT set of quotes were.

Very good chance of that being the case. Harrison is a problem, Timmy can crack. Very interesting fight.

Harrison went from having to fight Fundora to fighting Tim Ka-Zoo. Ole boy hit the jackpot because no way in Hell is he beating Fundora.

I like Harrison, but he has a very weak constitution, and if Tszyu brings the pressure Harrison will eventually fold. Bad style matchup for Harrison, in my opinion, and it's the reason Team Tszyu is willing to take a gamble with their #1 contender status against him.

Didn't even know Tzsyu has gone back to Australia and this Harrison fight is taking place over there. At least, Tony is expressing gratitude for being offered the fight. Unlike Haney who behaved as if he's giving everyone a favor by taking a fight in a modern country. And as if he's going to fight in a third-world island. It's the silliest thing I ever heard when many fighters leave their countries for an opportunity of a lifetime since time immemorial.

But I still think Tzsyu beats Harrison.

What are the betting odds in this fight knowing that Tzsyu is the underdog?

I actually think it's a brillant move on the part of Tim's team; if he can beat Harrison without too much damage, then he has a real chance against Charlo. But if he loses, or gets KO'd then no way he beats Charlo. Plus he's gonna make a ****load of money in Australia.
