Comments Thread For: Team Ennis Open To Roiman Villa Showdown: "I Think Everybody Wants To See That"

Having nurtured and guided Jaron "Boots" Ennis to prominence, Bozy Ennis, his father, and trainer, believes that he's ready for the best of the best. Although the duo have failed to lure the welterweight division's elite into the ring, the pair have taken what they can get.

Villa has pop, but his defence his just too porous. Easy win for Boots.

Roiman 'Eye Test Killa' Villa has already disrupted two 'eye test' fighters, and Karen Chukhadzhian showed the blueprint: just keep moving, don't stand and ****, and Boots is just another power fighter.

I say make the fight. Hell of a fight.

“I’m thinking it’s gonna be the kid that beat Rashidi Ellis,” said Bozy to YSM Sports Media when asked who he believes his son will face later this year. “Roiman Villa. I think that everybody wants to see that.”

No disrespect to Roiman Villa, but after his son beat 'Karen Chukhadzhian', I would rather see his son face a 'boy named Sue'.

Stop making this kid out to be the next great thing, when he has done nothing to really deserve it.

Too porous? Offense is always riskier that defense. He ran Ellis down and Ellis' nickname is Speedy. He beat him at his own game, Ennis plays the same cards, supposedly better, but it's the same school.

Fortunately the boxing world doesn't care what you would rather see. The fact that you're criticizing a fight that any true boxing fan would like to see just makes you another ignorant casual fan.

Ennis fighting another nobody. No Staonnis, Egis, or Butaev.
