All lies.
First Arum guides Ramirez away from Prograis.
Now he's juided Taylor away from the Caterall rematch.
Is he just expecting Lopez to beat Taylor and then making sure he has a stable of okay-ish names for him to defend against?ShoulderRoll likes this.

In the immediate aftermath of Catterall vs Taylor I.
Right there and then there was a opportunity to build the rematch by Team Catterall.
Catterall and his team should of confronted Taylor, and even in the months after the fight 'They should of been on him, using old school tactics outside the ring'.
But instead I saw no immediate reaction from team Catterall, yes they complained the decision but to who? A few Sky Sports pundits.
This rematch between Catterall & Taylor could of been made into a bigger event 'And more unavoidable fight, if team Catteral was a bit more creative and intense'.
David Haye when he moved into the Heavyweights division, did not sit around yabbering on through social media 'Haye not only blasted out some heavyweights, he also confronted Wladimir Kiltschko in person within physical reality'.
Over all of this time, I honestly think this is what Catteral should of been doing. Because this is professional boxing, it show business 'It is about themes, fights having theme's'.
Josh Taylor is the WBO Champion, Catteral is not the Champion 'So he has to get at these fighters'.
I know it is old school, but these are the tactics that still instinctively have a effect on fighters. If a man comes up to you on the street aggressively confronts you, refers to you as a chump and threatens way of life 'Instinctively you are going to have to defend yourself'.
I have not seen Catteral confront Josh Taylor once, since the first fight.
Catteral has never been a World Champion, and I have no idea what he achieved as amateur 'Fighters are not chasing him because he has not got the World titles'.
So he has to chase the Top fighters, with old school tactics 'He has to confront Taylor man to man, and tell him what he is going to do'.
Confront him at his own gym, with conviction 'Because Catteral vs Taylor II has the potential to be a monumental block buster domestic fight'.
It has all potential to be a bigger event than Smith vs Eubank Junior I & II, Brook vs Khan 'Because there will be World titles involved'.

Rematch was called, Taylor who had NEVER had a history of injuries, is suddenly getting injured left and right, and I called it back then (2021) as a plan to duck the rematch.Ganondorf likes this.

Promoter Bob Arum says he had no choice but to put the kibosh on the rematch between Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall after the WBO ordered Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez.
C'mon Bob, after all the time that has passed since Taylor vs Catterall 1 and it never happened....
If it looks like a duck, and smells like a duck then its a duck.
Spence vs Crawford was the blue-print, and now selective ducking is the trend.
