This, 100% correct. The network wars resulted in overpaid fighters who think they are due several million each time out no matter who they fight and the lack of popularity of boxing due to poor promotion and lack of big fights hasn’t helped the sport become any more popular. The moment Ed from 2015-2016 when pbc went live is gone

I've said this in another recent thread but it's astonishing that 2 guys that have been praised as being these incredibly smart businessmen, took nearly $2 billion dollars and essentially "blew it". We have a sport that's never been as divided nor as expensive in its whole damn history. Think about that,$2billion dollars and here we are being forced to pay $100 for the likes of Wilder vs Helenius or Canelo vs Ryder?!?.....

          BLKPRIME is next.

in Haymons defense he did give us some pretty damn good network TV fights for a good while. DAZN pretty much immediately failed. Also, PBC has given some pretty damn good fights overall. Can’t say the same for DAZN really.

I personally don’t think PBC is going anywhere. The next crop of young fighters may be making a bit less money up front but cream rises to the top. If you they can become an actual PPV star then sky’s the limit.

Wilder: "I'm still part of PBC, no bad blood, but I'm willing to work with anyone."

Translation: I can still work with Espinoza and willing to go back to Showtime...

            if the price is right.
