Do you have a link to the info about the investors ? I'm curious about how PBC works. Haymon must not be able to get a promoters license apparently.Comment

The writing has been on the wall for awhile too. Ive been telling these guys for over a year now Haymon having to resort to putting on fights like Thurman/Barrios or Ruiz vs Arreola on ppv is out of NECESSITY and nothing more. All they could retort with is "FOX just needs content, they dont care about PPV buys!!"....yea sure lol, wheres FOX now?? Gone, thats where. It's just PBC diehards buried thier heads in the sand, faulting other platforms like DAZN,while in the peripheral Haymon was shooting off mayday flares.....
No coincidence either Haymon is allowing guys like Wilder and Fulton to accept offers from other platforms now. The good of thier financial struggles is that it may open the door to more cross promotional fights like we are with Ran and Tank, if it ever gets signed.

Why do you think that poster you responded to brings up race? Does he bring up race concerning matchroom? Top rank? Or golden boy? Why do you think he went straight to race concerning pbc?Comment

I agree with you. But I ride w Wilder’s opposition thru the 3rd fury fight. He had a pretty good run where he fought some tough guys. certainly he had some cans mixed in ! But he actually did go out of his way to make the Ortiz and Fury fights, and I think he was going to fight Povetkin til a PED test killed it.Wilder clearly stated he was fighting on until he was 40 to make the big fight's meaning money.
Wilder & Ruiz are exactly what's wrong with alot of today's generation... entitlement. Neither like the money offered & Ruiz has had 2 fight's in 3 year's against shot past it old men copying Aj. All 3 want the easy path fighting cans & grandads.
Wilder I'm not sure is on any path any more, Ruiz has been ordered to face Wilder & Hrgovic for mandatory spots but i bet he doesn't fight either, again money & no belt for difficult fight's.
The wbc for ****s & giggles should order Wilder Aj, it still sells but with them 2 it's alway's been all talk
. Talky talky talky
But back to your point, boxers are overpaid. And everybody is stealing PPV nowadays. The market needs a reset.Comment

Don't come in here making shlt up because you're embarrassed for your black brethern. You clearly do not know how business works or even what an investor is.
Because it looks like now PBC is a sinking ship, all you people of a certain demographic are claiming the investors are white and pbc isn't owned by al haymon lmao. Haymon owns pbc no matter how you try to spin it.

market needs to reset. Most top fighters regardless of promotional affiliation are overpaid. Hate to say it because it’s a dangerous job, but it’s true. Hopefully PBC isn’t “sinking ship” cuz they have the biggest roster of fighters that i like. I’d def like to see Wilder Ruiz. But it ain’t PPV worthy.

Haymon owns pbc. He secured damn near a billion dollars from Waddell and Reed back in 2015. It was done in such a shady way. From what I recall, Al haymon knew a fund manager who worked there. After haymon secured the money, the shareholders sued Waddel and Reed. Then the fund manager, I don't know if he quit or got fired, went on to work for al haymon.Comment
