I agree completely the problem is that idiot Sergio Mora hes a joke he acted like Nery was wobbled and out of it when in reality he was getting hit yes but he was slipping a lot of shots that glanced and always moving. He was always aware and never really untrouble unlike AZAt who was out on his feet several times.

Sergio mora is a piece of **** dazn needs to get rid of him asap can't stand that moron.

As people have said, it was a brutal fight with both fighters taking a lot of punishment, that is not in the least bit up for debate. Anyone who thinks otherwise is blind as a bat.

What a great fight , Azat is like a human Chucky. Nery sure is sharp with his punches. This fight was everything great about boxing. Both guys elevated themselves. If only non boxing people could see the beauty through the brutality , boxing would have the audience that it deserves. Oh well , people like different kinds of art. I love this kind.

I didn’t see the fight — it sounds like I should have — but just dropping in to say that I agree. I can’t stand Sergio Mora. His commentary is banal. He constantly criticizes the fighters like he was some kind of boxing genius. Plus, he doesn’t even have a great voice! It doesn’t cut through, it’s got this featureless, monotone quality to it.

A great fighter has no weakness and does everything great. Mosely has no weaknesses but does everything ok/sort of good/not bad/meh. His overall averageness is his weakness. And his fights against barslugs are incredibly boring.

I'd rather have a flawed xfighter than a slick announcer that would say all the same stuff if he were calling a skateboard competition. Not to mention he always gives away the results of other sports contests that I have Dvr'd. Farhood and Bernstein have become shameless A-side shills. They are almost as bad as HBO used to be.

I noticed DAZN used Corey Erdman (also a writer here on Boxing scene) last night with Mora. In my opinion, he's a significant upgrade to the telecast. Some of the play by play guys don't really know boxing and it shows, Corey knows the sport well and it comes across in his broadcast. Erdman does play by play for other broadcasts as well.
