What else is Boots doing other than "going after it?" His team forced the IBF to order the WBC/WBA/IBF Champion to fight Boots within 120 days from January 7th, and Spence ran to 154 instead! Is that Boots' fault?

But its not the same, Thurman refused to give him a title shot, he's stil not giving Thurman a title shot either. Thurman had no intentions of moving up or fighting for undisputed, he was just holding onto his 0 and hoping for a big money fight against Mayweather. Spence wants to fight for undisputed, if he fights Boots, who doesn't have a belt, he would have to vacate his WBC and that chance is gone. If he fights Thurman, with no belts on the line, he still has the option to make weight one more time for the undisputed fight. Its not the same at all.

I expect Jaron Ennis to get his ASS beat if he fights Spence or Duckford either one.

How is that the WBC is OK with Spence fighting Thurman @ 154? I thought they ordered him to defend his WBC WW title, not just to fight Keith Thurman? First they hand Keith a BS eliminator, now he gets to fight Spence? That's as bad as creating a "Franchise" Belt out of thin air! This is what's wrong with the sport! I know you're a Spence fan, and so am I, but this is ALL F'D UP!!!

I feel ya, but I guess that they are making special concessions in the hope for the undisputed fight and a higher amount of sanctioning fees. Its not right, but if Bud wouldn't have run away from the first attempt to get the fight done, then Spence would have already become undisputed and vacated, and then all of the top contenders in the division would be fighting for the vacated titles.

Do you think the IBF would sanction Spence vs. Crawford at this point, with Spence already on the clock to fight Boots? As a Boots fan, I would hope Boots would allow Spence to fight Crawford for undisputed, but not anyone else at WW!

Yes, if I'm not mistaken, they said that's the only fight that would trump a Spence and Boots fight, but he would only have a limited time, 60 days, for the teams to make and agree to the fight after or instead of the Thurman fight. I 'm sure that Boots would have no problem taking the step aside money with the promise of a real title shot next, whether Errol wins and vacates, or Crawford wins, which won't happen, and is mandated to face him after.

Even if Crawford wanted to, Spence's legion of excuse making minions wouldn't give up custody of water, towels or jockstrap.
