Name ONE FIGHTER who's not american to be a huge PPV STAR??? Only pacquiao comes to mind.

Pac gives floys run for his money and he doe not even promote fights. FLoyd went out of his way to promote all this fights, pacquiao just shows up says nice thigns bout opponents and disappears for 8 weeks and still draws crowds!!!!!!
they used pac name and image and video to sell pbf/jmm

In an honest way. They kept mentioning how "Most" had Marquez winning the rematch against Pacquiao, which is true.

There's nothing wrong with being #2. Pac just happened to be in the same era as a better guy. Pac is still a good fighter. It's just that people recognize Floyd is better.

Take , for example, these Yahoo rankings:

These sportswriters watched Pac for two years while Mayweather was at home. Floyd gave up the #1 to Pac. They watched pac fight. Now that Mayweather is back, and they saw FMJ fight, they decided to put the king back on his throne. Not because Floyd is such a sweetheart and a lovable person. He is the better fighter (and happens to be a much bigger draw).

Embrace #2, guys. Pac is #2. It's OK.

          Pull,

No worries. In about six weeks, Pac gets a chance to make a statement in the ring...and at the cash register.

Wait. So, in an earlier thread, everyone was saying Pacquiao should get credit for the PBF/JMM PPV buys. But now, we should dismiss his lack of PPV buys because he's not American?

So he gets credit for other people's massive PPV buys, but doesn't have to take the blame for his LACK of PPV buys?

I think I'm starting to get it.

I honestly wish nothing but the best for Manny. He does come to fight and gives it his all. I won't knock him for not drawing more PPV-wise.
I'm sure he's comfortable with what he's earned so far. And if he's happy, that's really all that matters.

But I will say if he had a more charismatic personality in selling his fights he would do just as well, if not more than Floyd.

Can't deny he's been in very exciting fights.

                  Yes.

And the fact that so many people in the boxing community are willing to put a fighter who just came off retirement ahead of Pac tells you all you need to know about that fighter.

                  You are free to disagree.
