Has anyone noticed that there is a recent pattern where contenders are attempting to pull up/down fighters from different weight classes to maximize their odds?

    Fundora called out Spence

    Fulton called out Inoue

    Tzyu called out Spence

Tank pulled up Santa Cruz and Hector Garcia

Benavidez is attempting to force Charlo to move up

Conor Benn trying to make the fight with Eubank Jr happen

Munguia who has been fighting at 168 three times in a row challenging a old Golovkin.

    Jermell Charlo called out Spence

Ryan Garcia fought two lightweights at 140, though Fortuna was unable to make weight to be fair.

Shakur tried to pull up Navarrete at 130.

Zurdo is fighting Rosado, a middleweight two weight classes below and rehydrates up to 200+ pounds.

    Etc and etc.

I would hope Tim's father Kosta would step in and advise his son not to take that fight. Spence would end Tim's career before it even started. I pray that this fight doesn't happen. Harrison, Charlo, Thurman and Spence would be too much for Tim. I know that Tim is feeling himself right now but he needs to be realistic about some of the names that he wants. He needs to fight a few more tomato cans and work on his defense. He blocks a lot of punches with his face and that won't help his career as he fights these top guys.

So why now, 185LB in October? Probably the real facts are, Spence don’t want the real 147 challenges that face him today… or maybe Spence wants to hide in the 154 division with Danny G ?

It could possibly take place instead of or after the Thurman fight, but both sides are trying to keep everything between them and behind closed doors.
If true, this gives me hope. And if true, I don't blame them.

Ridiculous. Spence hasn't let his hands go in almost a year. I'm disappointed because I hold him in very high regard however I consider him on a growing list of part-time fighters. I don't wanna hear about any more accident either. Hire a driver, call uber, a taxi, take a bus. 3 belts equates to a lot of mandatories and at one bout every 12 to 16 months he isn't gonna cut it holding other welterweights back while he goes about his business.

Spence let his hands go against lil Mikey- lol… Lil Mikey wouldn’t have seen round 6 vs Bud.. although, lil Mikey felt safe fighting Jr, never considered a fight with Bud-

I guess you know how he thinks and what he weighs every month of the year. Spence has never ducked any smoke, he's fought 3 different champions for 3 different belts and the top guys in the division, why would he be afraid now?

Ohhh, I just remembered.....you're one of those Crawford apologists that try to discredit Spence on every thread. No matter how you try to downplay Errol, he's the man in the division and fought 3 champions to be the man. Hating on Spence doesn't make Bud look better or face better opponents, he has to do that on his own, you can't help him.

What is wrong with fighters nowadays? They call out guys from different divisions to maximize their outcome, instead of fighting guys from their own division.

So Tim thinks he is a tough guy now and he wants Spence to move up?
