I agree to a certain extent. Usyk most likely did better numbers bc Joshua was on the other side for 2 of those fights and Joshua is a bigger draw than Fury. Regardless, if Warren did make those comments and this does fall thru, they're gonna take a ton a heat for not standing by their word. Nothing new as these promoters backtrack all the time, but most are probably gonna put the blame on them and accuse them of ducking. That's when the real pressure will be put on.

Usyk is very flexible, money never touched his heart.
Krassyuk informed BoxingScene.com that he does not intend to back down from anything less than a 50-50 split.

I think 53 Fury 47 Ursk is close, maybe 55-45, 20% is too much money, its a big pie but they all know what a million dollars is let alone many.

There's a reason BT doesn't release Fury's PPV numbers. And Hearn did not say that, he said if Usyk didn't fight Fury and fought a Hrgovic, he would get 10x less. It takes two to make a big fight. That's the same reason Fury's last fight with Chisora did so poorly.

Here's what may happen if this negotiation wheelspin continues. Both zip-up for fun against others around June and we arrive back here next summer talking about Nov-Dec unification garbage, only by then Usyk will have hot breath down his neck re mandatories....and that's assuming no upsets come June

You're speculating, you have no idea what Fury does on PPV, and yes Hearn said that Fury is a far bigger draw than Usyk, i'll post the video if you like?

Being for undisputed and all of the belts is the real selling point of this fight not who the fighters are. Get it signed soon or please let’s move on and get the mandatories booked in.

"Usyk is very flexible, money never touched his heart."

                  Then take the pay cut?!!!
Is Fury being a drama queen? Yes.
But Fury has shown that he actually stubbornly believes he's worth at least 60%.

There's no reason to play the "fight for legacy" card when both of them are clearly fighting for money.
The difference is Fury is actually delusional and Usyk seems like he wants to cash out. Usyk was the B side in all his heavyweight fights and now that he's fighting the first decent boxer in the heavyweight division he's cashing out.

To be fair to Usyk he's playing the same game as Fury now. "Don't meet my demands? Fine I'll just fight an easy mandatory and keep the belts" but to act like he's in the right is foolish

This fight will probably not happen.

I guess Fury fights Ngannou next, or hopefully Joyce.

Usyk will probably drop some belts and fight Wilder next if he wants a big money fight.

Didn't Usyk say he would fight the free the other week? 40% shouldn't be an issue for him.
