It will happen. Usyk has nowhere else to go but fight a mandatory for fraction of the amount. Fury can still fight Joyce later this year or they can hype up a Ngannou fight next as a big money fight. Usyk doesn't have options he can't fight in Ukraine and he isn't making big money outside of Fury

The Usyk can't make money outside of Fury narrative simply isn't true. Say Usyk fights Joe Joyce instead in the UK.Do you really think they can't sell that fight to the British public? Usyk vs Bellew attracted a lot of interest in the UK. After two massive fights against AJ, Usyk's profile is even higher and HW is the money division.

Usyk vs Fury is a big fight because it is for undisputed. I'm not convinced Fury vs Joe Schmo would sell as well as Usyk vs Joe Joyce. Also factor in that Fury's baggage takes a US fight off the table, his one belt vs three, and it's hard to see why a split down the middle is supposed to be unfair. 50/50 for undefeated champion vs undefeated champiobn is as fair as it gets.

You're keeping Usyk's alternative fights within the realm of the UK, but there is also a fight against the #3 ranked heavyweight which is Wilder.

Joyce has a fight. Wilder is not fighting Usyk. The point is if no Fury then Usyks options are only mandatories Dubois or Hrgovic . That is the point. Neither of those make close to Fury fight money

What happened to the 4th Fury-Wilder fight I recently read about? I just assumed that the two of them would just continue to fight each other every other year with a couple of sparring session type fights with Otto sandwiched in between.

As of now a fourth Fury/Wilder fight could happen if Fury verses Usyk falls through or it could be Wilder verses Usyk. All the news says is that Wilder could wind up fighting a "Mystery Man: instead of Ruiz for his next fight.

Tyson Fury only wants more money so he has more to donate to charity. He handed over his Wilder purse from one of their fights, will do the same with Usyk. If we accept it on a 'because you said so' basis, then yes. If we use the rules of actual real-life evidence, then no. Which Fury-Hrgovic fight are you basing it on? The original fight or the rematch?

As far as I know, Fury has never fought Hrgovic. If he was to fight him this Spring/Summer, it would do big numbers because Fury is a draw! If Usyk fought Hrgovic, in NYC, Vegas, or the UK, even Saudi, it would not, because Usyk is not on the same level as Tyson Fury as an attraction!
