I agree. Fury is a tremendous boxer and a great personality, but he is, and always has chased more and more money for himself, like most people, but the charity thing, I think he shouldn't have brought that up, as once he dug that hole, he had to go through with it, but did he hell. Lmao. Even Eddie "Earn with Hearn" is always giving him stick for it. Nash out

The funny thing is Fury will go to Hollywood!
Fury can fight literally ANYONE and make the same or MORE money than Usyk
UNLESS the Saudi's are involved
Usyk & his team keep trying to bluff Fury and he hasn't made a peep! totally rattled them. I wouldn't be surprised if Warren is offering Usyk 70:30 not the 60:40 we've heard.
Usyk has no OPTIONS FURY DOES!
Usyk also wants to retire....now basically. Fury wants to keep fighting.Comment

And that’s the thing with Fury. He’s either up for it, like the Wilder fights, or he can’t be bothered and he’d rather fight bums most of the time. If he’s not up for it the fight doesn’t happen.Last edited by NorvernRob; 02-15-2023, 01:50 PM.Comment

If we accept it on a 'because you said so' basis, then yes. If we use the rules of actual real-life evidence, then no. Which Fury-Hrgovic fight are you basing it on? The original fight or the rematch?Comment

In a lot of unifications, the bigger financial draw is often entitled to a bigger split.
This is not one of those times - they both have massive leverage over one another.
Fury needs those belts - if he beats Usyk, Fury-Joshua in an all-English undisputed heavyweight title fight would be the richest fight in the history of the sport. Ever.Comment

No one is saying it will sell as well as a Fury fight. Obviously. The question being tested was: does Usyk have any other options besides Fury. Joyce or Wilder would still generate lots of money. No, not as match as the undisputed fight, because they aren't for undisputed... But they would do well enough to put lie to the suggestion that Usyk has no other options.Comment

Fury is the draw and should get the bigger slice of the pie if they fight in England. Anywhere else, then they gotta find a way to hash it out. Usyk, as great as he is, really isn't a draw anywhere like that despite having 3 belts. Somebody at some point is gonna hafta give in a bit if this is to happen bc there is too much money and history on the line here for this not to happen.Comment

If Fury doesn't fight Usyk, it will be Wilder again. This has been reported in the news and Wilder's people say that Wilder might possibly not fight Ruiz next but a "Mystery man". That fight, odd as it seems would do very well at Wembley. On the other hand Usyk might be the Mtstery man, one of the two for sure if he doesn't fight Ruiz next.Last edited by OldTerry; 02-15-2023, 04:00 PM.Comment
